The OSU Extension Service is offering Beginning Babysitter Training on Wednesday afternoons, October 15 through November 26 at the OSU Extension Office in Tillamook. Tillamook School District students can ride the school bus from school to the OSU Extension Office with notification from the parent.
Each session will begin with a brief nutritious snack preparation activity and games to play with children. Session topics and presenters include: Responsibilities of a Babysitter; Preventing and Handling Emergencies; Child Behavior & Guidance; Activities for Children; Feeding Children; and Ages & Stages.
Pre‑registration is required due to limited space. Cost is $35 per participant, which includes enrollment in 4-H, handouts, snacks and activities. Payment accepted via cash or check (payable to the OSU Extension Service).
